The Net:

A White Tiger Constellation

Key Star: Epsilon Tau (Epsilon Tauri)

The Net has eight stars. Ancient Chinese Astrologers call it Tou, a hand net or rabbit net, ruled by the Moon. It's astrological symbolism is described thus:

A fortunate sign. The less auspicious aspects of treachery and desertion have apparently been forgotten. Fortunate for building, and for interment, the former bringing fortune, the latter honors. Long life is assured to children born of a marriage today.**

Early Arabian Astrologers called the Net Al Dabaran. Here is their Portent:

Causes the destruction and hindrances of buildings, fountains, wells, gold mines, the flight of creeping things, and begets discord. With Moon here, pursue business, travel, marry and take medicine.*

In ancient India, Astrologers called the Net Rohini, and offered the following Portent:

A stable asterism belonging to the Shudra caste and favorable for coronations, expiatory ceremonies, planting of trees, sowing of seeds, building of towns, and matters of a permanent nature when containing the Moon. Those born on the lunar day will be devout, rich, merchants, rulers, drivers, possessed of wealth and cattle. With Moon here at birth native will be truthful, polite, steady, handsome, cleanly and uncovetous. Rules vinegar pots and the forehead. *
