The Tail:

An Azure Dragon Constellation

Key Star: Mu Sco (Mu Scorpii)

The Tail has nine stars. Ancient Chinese Astrologers called it Wei. When the moon passed through this constellation, the Astrologers saw a portent such as:

This is a fortunate day for building and negotiating marriages which will result in rich descendants. It presages the finding of hidden treasures and promotion to high office.**

In ancient Arabia, Astrologer called the Tail Al Shaulah and saw the following portent:

The Sting. Helps in besieging cities, taking towns, driving men from their places, destruction of seamen and captives. With Moon here, buy cattle, hunt but do not marry.*

Ancient Astrolgers from India called the Tail Uttara Ashadha. Their Portent is as follows:

The Former Unconquered. Symbol, an Elephant's Tusk, or, together with the next asterism, a Bed. Regents, Apas, Waters, and Visve Devas, the Combined Gods. Ruled by Venus. A severe asterism belonging to the Brahmin caste and favorable for acts of disgrace, destruction, deceit, imprisonment, beating, burning and poison when containing the Moon. Those born on the lunar day will be truthful, cleanly, wealthy, fond of fruit and flowers and sea voyages. With Moon here at birth native will be conceited, proud, constant in friendship and will have an agreeable life. Rules thatched houses and the back.*
